Elaine Harris is a business professional, having excelled
in varied leadership roles at DuPont and AlliedSignal / Honeywell,
before co-founding BREAKTHROUGH MARKETING TECHNOLOGY. She
has skill in all phases of marketing, with specific experience
in marketing communications, product and market development,
market research, and strategic planning. Her background as
an engineer provides a framework for analyzing business situations
and problem solving.
Accomplishments include:
- Repositioned Fortune
100 firm’s mainstream, global
apparel product, developing a new value proposition,
key offering features and benefits, and communications strategy
- Initiated
relationships with major apparel manufacturers, retailers,
and designers in new market territory with
$10 million sales potential; developed promotional programs
to increase consumer awareness
- Developed
advertising and promotions, including a Metropolitan Museum
of New York event, coordinating activities with
counterparts in Europe and Asia
- Developed
novel retail designs and merchandising concepts for DuPont’s
apparel-related businesses

in South America and Asia Pacific.
